Aura 1v1

Frequently asked questions

Good to know
before you battle.

The short version of how Aura1v1 works, what you need and what stays optional.

Who can play Aura1v1?

Aura1v1 is for adults aged 18 or older. You must confirm that you meet the age requirement before playing.

Do I need Aura Plus to play?

No. You can play one-minute 1v1 and friend battles without Aura Plus, and recording remains optional. Aura Plus is an optional subscription for extras such as personal dance insights and custom tower colors; it does not change scores or rankings.

What do I need for a battle?

Allow camera and microphone access for the live battle. Use a clear space and step back until your head, feet and whole body fit in view. Move within your abilities and stop if you feel uncomfortable.

How does body tracking work?

Your browser finds body landmarks in the camera picture and sends temporary body-joint positions to the game server for scoring. Facial landmarks are excluded and Aura1v1 does not use identity recognition. Automated scores can be wrong and are for gameplay, not health or fitness assessment.

How do I find an opponent or play a friend?

Choose Random battle to look for another player. For a friend battle, create a private room and share its code, or join with the six-character room code your friend sent you.

Does agreeing to record make the replay public?

No. In-app recording starts only when both players allow it and includes both video feeds and voices. Publishing on the Aura1v1 Watch feed is a separate choice for that exact clip: both players must preview and approve it before anyone can watch it publicly. Nothing is posted automatically.

Is canceling Aura Plus the same as deleting my account?

No. Use Manage subscription in your Aura Plus account area to manage cancellation; a scheduled cancellation takes effect on the date shown there. Deleting your account is a separate, permanent action that also starts billing cleanup. If that cleanup cannot be confirmed, deletion stays pending. Signing out alone does not confirm that billing has stopped, and account deletion does not request a refund.

Where can I get help?

Email [email protected] for account, privacy, moderation or product questions. You can also join the Aura1v1 Discord (opens in a new tab).
